Stevens Report

Back from my weekend fun trip, the last big one this summer. I think I blew a lot of cash, but not as much as I had planned, so it should be okay. Shot off three rolls, and I think I have a fourth still in the N80. The trip wasn't as productive as it could have been is my first impression. I still don't know the pass that well, I really need to get some maps and study it. But I think I might have gotten a few worthwhile shots. I also douched one, setting up with the tripod and getting all ready for a low-light shot similar to one Stein did on the WP, but running out of film at the last possible second. D'oh!

Either way, it was fun to spend time with J one-on-one. We actually did get a chance, at least for a while, to talk serious about things. I'm looking forward to getting him down here to Orangeandblackiastan next summer for an extended visit; I know he'll love the kind of railroading we have down here.

Now if only my cold will be bearable enough tomorrow so I can go into town and get my film developed!
