Review: Full Metal Panic

Definitely a comedy, in an over-the-top, outrageous way. The concept is simple enough: a high school student is also a mercenary soldier, and when anything happens, his first reaction is to face it as if it is a lethal threat. "I made it very clear, I waved my gun and told him...." is a common explanation of something the main character has done. Every time you think something is outrageous, it gets topped with something even more outrageous that you're shaking your head at. The title screens seems a bit out of place, the chimes and such seem childish. Otherwise, it's just funny to wait and watch what insane thing that Sousuke has come up with now.

Lets not even go into where the hell he hides all these guns and things....

"The most likely option is... ah! The landmine!"

Absolutely absurd. Absolutely entertaining.
