Mayhem update

Talked with the advisor. Two more years; I'll enter the University this fall as a Junior. Upside? One more Summer I could use for one last big trip. Also, some degree of stability now for planning the next couple of years. But even so... two more years. Two more years of being broke, of driving a galaxie, of having no pad of my own.

Meanwhile, mixed news in other academic matters. My PLA advisor went ahead and sent a draft in to an evaluator and got it accepted, meaning I only need to do two essay revisions instead of three. Downside? (Isn't there always one? Of course there is....) Downside is I went to the lappy to look for the essays, to begin editing them... and they're gone. As in gone. Poof. Disappeared. Somehow they got deleted, my guess is last week when I was rationalizing the HD, they got canned. Dammit. Fortunately I ahve paper copies, but of course this means transcription mania. It'll be alright but wow, it's going to be a bit of extra "fun".
