So I guess I should give an update too.

This term, I lumped almost all of my classes onto two days, Mondays and Wednesdays. These were my long days anyway, last term I had a six hour layover between classes on those days. My new schedule cuts that to four hours, which is a good thing. It still leaves me a study time break in the day -- or a relaxation time, which is what I use it for more often. The library is comfy and has wifi, after all. It also is a small enough window that riding the bus downtown for lunch and back again is almost a waste of time, which is keeping me more fiscally responsible. Downside is that food up here isn't great -- pizza is probably the tastiest thing here, but that's not that good and gives me heartburn a lot. Bah. But I should have a few hundred or more this term by eating cheap. (I REALLY spoiled myself last term.)

Finances are tight. The trip left we really tapped out, and I had to have Mom advance payment on her website project so I could cover tuition. Damn late reimbursements. I need to talk to WaMu about a credit card before next term, so I can avoid this next time. No point in tying up $900 for a two week debt!

Classes:

M/W, Math 65 at 8:30 to 11. Still basic algebra. A challenge but not a painful one, the bigger challenge is dealing with homework in the one day between classes. Tuesday is now my big study day, but at least I can do that at home, slacking, and not have to worry about getting out the door at eleven for another class and then rushing home at 2, like last term. Teacher is fast, hard, but funny, and serious. Approachable in her office setting as well, so I'm confident I'll do okay there, as long as I am honestly trying to do the work well. Also, I sit through this class with Anne, one of my classmates from last term's ENG 104, and this term's ENG 105, so this term I have someone to study with and work out problems with. Like me, she just started last fall, so we have many other common experiences, and she's an adult, not a kid, so I can rely on her to be serious and give a damn about her work, unlike some in the class.

M/W, 11-Noon, Anne and I have lunch, and are usually joined by two more fellow ENG104/105 vet -- rawr and more rawr. :-P

M/W/F, ENG 105, 1-1:50. Intro to Drama. Cool teacher, class is part of an English Lit series I am taking to satisfy degree requirements. Readings, but no performances or costumes, thankfully. Still, it's a group of students whoa re pretty smart all around, and many of whom were in ENG 104.

M/W, 2-6:30 is study time in the library. (Like now, heh.) Goofing off, studying, break, sleeping sometimes, whatever needs being done.

M/W, 6:30-9, GER 101. Again, cool teacher. Class varies. Some of the students are slackers, some are not. I don't feel I'm drowning this term as much as last term, but it's still a struggle. 'Teach is suggesting starting up a German social group on saturdays at a coffee shop somewhere on the westside later in the term, and I think that will help, though once Spring term hits, I won't be able to do that as much, with my trips to C-Town for the railroad.

Anywho. I'll live. New schedule looks okay. Nothing too bad so far. This isn't too bad, I'm good with this. Not as much BS time with Pie, but meh. Pie has been claimed anyway.
