Talgoland: It's all that you can't leave behind

So I went to the German party last night. The prof. was all impressed that I dressed up and wore a tie, and ordered a Manhatten, and used words like "kick" to describe how it tasted, and ordered the sachertorte and a mocha for desert. I think I'm getting a rep as rather hip. It's funny how little effort that takes in a casual place like Portland.

Anyway, she forgot to bring the folders so I didn't know my grade last night, but she posted them on the web this morning. I got an A. Geeze. It's scary cause I really didn't study that hard, and I was always correcting my work and redoing stuff. And flubbing over words. And yet... an A. So as of right now, I have a 4.0 GPA. Of course, we'll see how that goes once the ENG 104 score goes up, and also, the MATH 60 which I am taking finals in in about... oh... two hours.
