Foamertography. [FO-merr-tog-raf-ee.] n.

1. The art or process of of producing crappy images of railroad related subjects on photosensitive surfaces. Examples must exhibit off-kilter leveling, foreground clutter, poles or wires between lens and subject, unintentional exposure problems, fog, or other effects created via negligence, stupidity, or lack of skill. 2. The contents of second-rate railroad theme magazines produced for railfans or "foamers", such as Railpace or Railfan & Railroad.
