Talgoland: It's all that you can't leave behind

Mistake #1: Admitting you are free for the weekend.
Mistake #2: Not taking the first "out" when plans go wrong.
Mistake #3: Offering to pony up cash for a room to "make a weekend out of it."
Mistake #4: Making reservations too late.
Mistake #5: Making reservations too quickly.
Mistake #6: Making cancellations too quickly.

Lesson: Unless it's your trip, don't try and fix problems, unless asked to. And if asked, don't knock yourself out doing it. And most importantly, never be anything but the Alpha Wolf. If you play the secondary role, don't be surprised when things go out of control.

Of course, it's prolly all just cause it's UP I'm chasing.

The Road Not Taken
