Qualifications

So Dave over at RRF is worked up.

Apaprently, he rated a photo in the Gallery belonging to Senor Reeves, giving it a 5 or 6. Sam responded by rating a bagillion of Dave's shots, with comments such as "good exposure but its just a trackside snapshot"....

And of course, did Dave get it? No, he just chalked it up to Sam being a sore loser.

Might it make more sense that maybe Sam was trying to drive home the point that to critique, you should know what you're talking about? Don't get me wrong, as infuriating as Dave can be from time to time, he's not a bad guy. But -- gasp -- he's not exactly mister artistic. Even his older stuff -- the Teton shots -- could have been taken by any lucky schmuck with a dRebel. Face it, stunning landscape shots are cool, but it's more about being there at the right time, and not fricking up the exposure.

But yeah, Dave... Sam's just a sore loser.
